Consider raising money through a “third-party” event and donate the proceeds to LTSC. Here are some ways to help:

• Garage Sales
• Create your own special event (i.e. Silent auction, golf tournament, etc.) to raise money for LTSC!
• Are you a retailer? Restaurant? Host a benefit day and donate a percentage of your proceeds to LTSC.

Show your support with an annual pledge of $200 or more and become an Honor Grove Member! Your annual Honor Grove contribution supports critical programs for those in need.

Honor Grove contributions may be made via check, credit card, PayPal (see above) or a payroll deduction with United Way, Combined Federal Campaign, or Asian Fund. Members of the Honor Grove are invited to special LTSC CDC events and are acknowledged in LTSC CDC's Annual Report and on our website.

Making estate planning decisions?

Supporters of all income levels can become a Legacy Partner to support the LTSC Endowment Fund in a number of ways: by making multi-year pledges, bequests designated by will or living trust, gift annuities, charitable trusts, gifting future interest in personal residence, gifts from pension fund assets or naming LTSC CDC on a life insurance policy -- it's up to you.

Gifts to the Endowment Fund are invested for long term growth by LTSC CDC's endowment partner, the California Community Foundation. A percentage of the income generated from the investment is distributed annually to support projects and programs that help those in need.

Legacy Partners receive a personalized annual message from the Executive Director, invitations to Legacy Partner recognition luncheons, invitations to estate planning update seminars, a personal society memento and acknowledgement in the LTSC CDC Annual Report and website.

Your unwanted vehicles can help the community. A donation of a used car is a great tax deduction and provides critical income for LTSC.

It's easy to do. Just contact and give us some basic information: (1) the vehicle's make, model and year; (2) license plate number and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN); (3) mileage; and (4) a brief description of the vehicle's condition.

Within a few days, our car broker will contact you to schedule a pickup. After the car is sold you will receive an acknowledgement letter indicating the selling price of the car. The tax deduction is based upon the selling price of the car. Vehicle donors will also be acknowledged in the LTSC Annual Report and website.
