What is LTSC?

LTSC is a social service and community development organization that has been creating positive change for people and places in Southern California for more than 37 years. Starting with its home in Little Tokyo, the organization builds and strengthens the unique ethnic communities of the region and helps people thrive.

What are LTSC’s major areas of work?

LTSC is engaged in series of important projects to create positive change for people and places in Southern California. Key work areas include: strengthening Little Tokyo, nurturing families, helping seniors, building affordable housing, assisting people in need and supporting affiliated programs.

What services are provided by LTSC?

What is Paul I. Terasaki Budokan?

Paul I. Terasaki Budokan will be a multipurpose sports facility and community center in Little Tokyo. On August 3, 2017, LTSC broke ground on Budokan, an important step toward fulfilling a decades-old community vision. The facility will serve as the community’s “Home Court for All,” by connecting youth and seniors alike with the rich history and culture of Little Tokyo

What is +LAB?

+LAB is an initiative of LTSC. Through +LAB, LTSC teams up with artists and arts institutions to find imaginative ways to empower the Little Tokyo community.

How do I apply for affordable housing?

LTSC works with Barker Management Inc. and Levine Management Group to manage the organization’s affordable housing apartment buildings. For general inquiries about LTSC’s buildings or to apply for affordable housing, please see the contact information listed below. Please note that the waiting lists for these buildings may be closed.
